Introducing Jo Malone: Honeysuckle and Davana

It is a tradition in Jo Malone London to introduce a brand-new scent into their main collection annually while retiring yet one of their old classics. This year, the last remnant of the 90s collection – French Lime Blossom will be phased out in favor of yet another blossom fragrance – Honeysuckle and Davana.

Sounds familiar? Yes, it does! The last time Jo Malone make use of Honeysuckle as their main ingredient takes us back to 1996 with the introduction of Honeysuckle and Jasmine. Nosed by Bertrand Duchaufour, he paints the fragrance to exudes soothing scent of spring flowers after a downpour, fresh and cooling dew of blossoms.

As for this year's creation, a few spritz of Honeysuckle and Davana takes you away to a garden full of sweet blossoms that evolves throughout the day, sweet enough to spellbind honey bees and butterflies alike. Mme Flipo incorporates the intoxicating nectarous Honeysuckle with sweet and fruity accord of Davana, creating the perfect fragrance for summer.

Similar to Star Magnolia, Jo Malone incorporates “Headspace” technology to decode its scent molecules and create a similar accord without utilizing the flower as its raw ingredient. Honeysuckle and Davana is expected to arrive on our shore this September.

PS: Will be updated once the pyramid notes are out! 😉
