5 fragrances to quench your summer thirst!

SUMMER – to us Malaysian, it’s not that exciting after all. Located strategically at the equator, our country is only subject to heat, heat and more heat all year round!

As such, we would normally wear lighter fragrances if we ever go out under the sun. Ya know, its fragrance 101 all over again. You wouldn’t want to suffocate yourself nor others with that choking vanilla or amber-ish woody scent right ;)?

In order to help you pick your signature summer fragrance, I have listed down five which I feel it’s perfect for Malaysian weather or any country that are currently experiencing summer. Don’t worry, they are exceptionally easy to be obtained from your local department store J

Abercrombie & Fitch First Instinct
A blend of fresh melon and tonic water – light yet alluring for that sweat drenched summer. Its heart gleams to life with citrus and sexy violets, leaving its pheromones behind with the help of white musk.

Jo Malone Basil and Neroli
Launched late 2016, it’s the house’s second cologne to feature basil as their main ingredient after Lime Basil and Mandarin from 1999. Freshness of basil is combined with flirtatious neroli – sexy but yet clean. Perfect for summer dates!

Davidoff Cool Water for Men
All time classic. Introduced in the 1988, Davidoff Cool Water is touted as one of the best fragrance masterpieces for summer. Metaphorically, a few sprays feel like a rush of cool water waves, leaving your sharp yet masculine.

Bvlgari AQVA Pour Homme
No list is complete without the mention of infamous AQVA. Deemed as the direct contender to Cool Water, AQVA heightened your senses with fresh salty notes from seaweed above hidden citrus and petitgrain – reminisces of walking around the beach.

Atelier Cologne Pomelo Paradis
Another citrus? Hold on tight! Pomelo Paradis welcomes you with juicy pomelo and pink grapefruit. Its zingy tartness promises to excite your senses and heightened your adrenalin. Don’t fancy coffee? Splash this instead!
